Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on iOS in Algeria Q2 2024

In the second quarter of 2024, the top five Navigation and Maps applications on the iOS platform in Algeria revealed diverse trends in downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at around 4.6K in early April and peaking at 6.5K in the week of May 6. Active users showed a general upward trend, beginning at approximately 167.6K and reaching a high of 216.1K by the end of June.

Google Earth had relatively stable downloads, with a notable increase to 1.3K in mid-June. Active users remained fairly consistent, fluctuating around the 4.6K mark throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a steady increase in downloads, reaching a peak of 1.1K in mid-June. Active users also grew, climbing from 25.6K at the start of April to 28.5K by mid-June before slightly declining to 26.2K by the end of the quarter.

Qibla Compass (Kaaba Locator) saw modest download numbers, with a peak of 388 in mid-May. Active users displayed a gradual increase from 139 in early April to 265 by mid-May, before slightly decreasing to 170 by the end of June.

Speedometer Simple had consistent weekly downloads, ranging between 124 and 194. Active users showed a steady rise, starting at 507 and reaching 640 by mid-June, maintaining this level through the end of the quarter.
